- Hover over Content > Add Content and click on Page. A new content-editing page will open, with all fields blank.
- Enter the page Title.
- Enter a Meta Description. This text displays under the page title on search engines like Google and should describe your page in less than 155 characters.
- Add content into the Body field. Remember to follow all of the best practices in web content creation (relative links, heading sizes, writing for the web, etc.).
- Banner allows you to upload an image that will display above the page’s title. If you need to change a banner, click on the Choose File button and then follow the prompts.
⚠ Note: The recommended image dimensions for a Banner are 1920 x 220 pixels. If you upload an image taller than 220 pixels, only the top 220 pixels will be displayed.
- You will need to set the page’s placement within the site hierarchy. In order to do this, scroll down to Menu settings at the bottom of the page. From here, you can set a Menu link title (i.e., how the page will be labelled in the site’s menu) and choose which menu item you’d like to Place page beneath (i.e., the page under which this new page will be nested).
- When you’ve finished inputting the content, click Publish or Save as Draft. If you only wish to input some of the content and return later to edit the page, you can do so by following the steps outlined in Edit Existing Content.
