Find Existing Content

In the Main Menu

Find the page (or news article, event, profile page, etc.) you’d like to edit on your website’s front end (e.g., yourdepartment.utoronto.ca) by navigating through the site’s menu, or using the Search bar in the top right-hand corner.

Your page will show a View and Edit tab if you are logged in:

Arrows pointing to View and Edit.

When you click on the Edit tab, you will see the page in its editable form. (For example: you’ll see the same text, but it will now be contained inside a box marked Body).

In the Content Panel

The content panel can be accessed by clicking Content in the black bar at the top of your screen. This provides you with two different pathways to edit recent content:

About our Graduate Studies is circled and labelled as Path A. Edit is circled and labelled as Path B.

  • Path A: If you click on the name of the page, you will be taken to the page itself, and will have to click on the Edit tab in order to make changes:

  • Path B: Click edit on the far right side of the screen to go directly to that page’s editing panel.
